The Power of Connection

I recently found myself being closed off to my close friends. I usually reach out to my friends throughout the week to see how they are doing.  We all have busy schedules but sometimes just receiving a text now and then feels nice. Honestly, I was nervous to see my friends in the video chat because I was afraid that it would be awkward, that I have nothing much to catch them up about my life.  It is true what they say about close friendship. True friendships are friendships that no matter how long time passes by, you can always pick up where you left off. I made a little list of how I felt after connecting with them again, which lead me to think even more about my life as a Christian.

With God Just like with our closest friends who we can be ourselves with, is always there for us. When we spend time with Him wholeheartedly and focus on Him, how much more and better it would be. That feeling where you are just truly you. Even without speaking a word, without judgment and all the other noises, He knows You just as you are, you in His eyes despise all that you did and done, the flaws, the failures, the thoughts, and all uncertainties. He knows, the fact that you came to him willingly, it is enough to start again.

It reminded me that through the father and God’s love, he gave us Jesus his son. Jesus who loved his father listened and obeyed him to fulfill his purpose on earth. Because of Jesus, we can also talk to our father God. He is now our father through Jesus we are more than servants and friends but are children of God. The power of connecting with friends is such a blessing. A blessing that God gave us. Shall we keep our connection with Jesus and our Father? How much more whole can we feel when we do.

16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10
